This Winter
We will be in Anchorage on February 17, 18 and 19 for the Alaska Airlines Winter Classics.  And, as you have seen, we believe in creating musical connections whenever and wherever possible.  Alaska is home to a number of vibrant and vital classical music performance organizations, and I am pleased to have an opportunity to work with them.  This year, to celebrate Paul Rosenthal’s retirement, Paul and I will be performing with the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra this coming season.  On February 26, Paul and I will perform with The Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra’s Director/Conductor/pianist Eduard Zilberkant in Fairbanks.  The Anchorage Symphony Orchestra will host Paul and me to perform the Brahms Concerto for violin and cello, Op. 102.

This June & July
June in Sitka is my favorite time of year.  Since I travel approximately 250 days per year, I love coming home to Sitka to spend quality time with the other Festival musicians. While I will be inviting many new faces to the Festival, you will still continue to see many of your favorites!  There will also be some changes to the summer calendar.  Most importantly, we will be starting the Festival one week later on June 8th and it will run one week longer, with our finale performance on July 7th.  We will also not be programming anything on Mondays or Tuesdays so these will be your best travel days.  This will make our collaboration with the Sitka Fine Arts Camp easier and it will allow us to bring you a Festival with a more relaxed pace, allowing our musicians and visitors to enjoy Sitka.
